Darío's roots lie in the Nahuatl tradition — the language and cosmology of the Aztec people. From a young age he grew up close to the sacred fire, receiving the transmission of his elders: not only the practice, but the deep spirit of ancestral medicine.
He is an Ancestral Ambassador within a network of indigenous communities across the Americas, and Captain of the Sun Dance Circle — roles he has held for more than 25 years. His work is not that of an individual, but of a lineage.
Darío works as a holistic healer: accompanying people through processes of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing, guided by what each person needs. More than following a script, Darío listens — and from there, opens the path.
Darío is not only a healer — he is part of a living tradition. As an Ancestral Ambassador, his work is rooted in a network of indigenous communities that spans the entire American continent. What he carries has been passed down through lineages far older than any single teacher.
His home and ceremonial space sit in the forest outside Tulum, on ancient Mayan land surrounded by cenotes and ceremonial sites. This is where he lives, where he holds ceremony, and where he welcomes those who come to be healed.
While Tulum is home, Darío's work takes him across Mexico and beyond — wherever people need to be met.

The Temazcal is an ancient steam ceremony rooted in the Nahuatl tradition — a sacred chamber of heat, medicinal plants, and intention that purifies body, mind, and spirit. Darío carries this tradition from the volcanic highlands of central Mexico, passed down through more than 25 years of sacred preparation with his elders.

Contact Darío Darío offers immersive two-day retreats in the sacred jungle outside Tulum — a journey through Temazcal ceremony, traditional medicines, massage, and energy alignment, with visits to ancient cenotes and ceremonial sites. Food, lodging, and guidance are provided throughout. Whether you come alone or as a group, each retreat is shaped entirely around those who attend.
